At its heart, Roxy Cafe is a cherished local diner where breakfast isn't just a meal—it's a ritual. The kitchen is never far from view, working tirelessly to fill plates with hearty, honest food that’s as much about tradition as it is about flavor. Whether you’re drawn to an indulgent stack of waffles dusted with powdered sugar, the satisfying comfort of a well-made omelet, or the rich simplicity of corned beef hash paired with eggs and toast, the menu reads like a warm conversation with a longtime friend. Here, every bite seems to echo the care and attention that comes from a kitchen plugged into its community.
The cafe’s popularity is easy to understand. Even on its busiest days, when the space feels packed and the air is thick with chatter and clinking cutlery, there’s no rush. Servers navigate the lively scene with genuine care, ensuring cups of coffee remain full and meals arrive just as they should—inviting you to relax into the spirited pace rather than race along with it. You can feel the pride in every detail, from the locally sourced beef in the cheeseburger to the freshly scrambled eggs, speaking to a dedication to quality that’s as grounded as the diner’s roots.
Whether you’re slipping in for an early breakfast or settling down for a casual lunch, Roxy Cafe captures a snapshot of daily life in Jackson—a place where the hustle of hungry guests meets the warmth of a shared table. Hometown diner with the old school feel. Cannot go wrong with the corned beef hash omelette, it’s incredible. Consistently keep your coffee cup full too. 5 stars!

We ordered pickup. It was Sunday morning. It was so packed! I'm surprised the Fire Marshall allows for so many people to be packed into such a tiny place! Very chaotic. Still had to wait past our original ETA but they were slammed. I understand why! The food was phenomenal even after driving 20 minutes home. I won't be dining in but I will order pickup. We had breakfast! The pancakes are freaking huge! Those are main dish pancakes. You don't get those babies on the side! I loved the potatos that came with them! The breakfast ham was cooked perfectly. I also enjoyed that the scrambled eggs weren't dry. My husband ordered the biscuits and sausage gravy. We specifically came here for this dish. My husband has been searching for a good biscuits with SAUSAGE gravy with no success. Roxy Cafe is currently his top contender!

Everyone of the staff is awesome. Courtney was our server this time, and she made sure we were very well taken care of. The food was excellent! Steak was cooked exactly as ordered. Added onions to the Benedict omelet, which made it better. Definitely 5 stars.

Busy, busy m, busy. Local restaurant open for breakfast and lunch. Food is fresh and prepared well. Tables are tight and counter is always busy. Wish list: Pure maple syrup with an up charge as the waffles are great. And chicken or turkey sausages. Burgers are made from beef from the local butcher. Excellent sandwiches too. Overall, an institution in Jackson!

This place is amazing! Definitely will be back when we travel through. The food was great and I love the atmosphere. The wait staff was friendly and knew almost everyone by name. Definitely take a close look at the menu. They have funny stuff all over it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If nostalgia had a flavor, this café serves it sunny-side up. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with vintage charm, the smell of fresh coffee, and a staff so friendly they could probably make burnt toast feel special. The pancakes? Fluffier than a 1950s poodle skirt. The bacon? Crisp perfection. And the coffee keeps coming like it’s trying to win your heart — and honestly, it might. If you’re looking for the kind of breakfast that makes you forget your phone and just smile at your plate, this retro gem is it.

We recently tried this place out after a friend told is about it! We have already been here multiple times in the last couple of months. It gives you the ol' fashioned cafe feel and look and the food is amazing! If you like Gyros, try the Gyro omelet. You won't be disappointed! Ask for an extra cup of their Tzatziki sauce, though. It is delicious and 1 is not enough for their big omelets! But a must try, regardless!
